Champittet 学生通过圣餐退修、坚振和圣体弥撒追寻精神之旅

成立于 120 多年前、 瑞士尚贝缇国际学校 has always emphasized the importance of educating students both personally and academically. This tradition continues to thrive, with the school's chaplaincy offering a range of spiritual activities designed to help students explore and deepen their faith. The end of the school year was a particularly significant time for students preparing for their First Holy Communion or Confirmation, marking a pivotal moment in their spiritual journeys. Students in Grades 4 to 7 embarked on a two-day spiritual retreat at the Notre-Dame de Géronde Monastery in Saint-Maurice from June 5th to 6th. This retreat provided a serene environment for reflection and learning, supported by the prayers of the Bernardine Sisters. Activities included visits to the Abbey of Saint Maurice, attending mass, and participating in confession, all of which enriched the students' understanding and appreciation of their faith. Similarly, those preparing for Confirmation experienced a retreat in Estavayer-le-Lac, offering them a peaceful setting for contemplation and spiritual growth.

The culmination of these spiritual preparations was the Corpus Christi Mass held on June 19th at the Sacré-Cœur Church in Lausanne. This event was a celebration of faith and community, attended by families and the wider 瑞士尚贝缇国际学校 community. Under the guidance of Father Philippe Matthey and Father Jean-Pascal Vacher, more than a dozen students received their First Communion, and six were confirmed. The mass was made even more memorable by musical performances, including flute, cello, and organ, as well as the uplifting voices of the school choir. These elements combined to create an emotionally resonant and spiritually uplifting experience for all involved. The school extends its gratitude to the organizers and families who supported the students throughout their spiritual journey, highlighting the community's role in nurturing the students' faith.
