来自 瑞士苏瓦尔国际女子学校 embarked on a memorable journey to Vienna, a city renowned for its historic architecture and vibrant Christmas markets. Their adventure began with a visit to the Belvedere Museum, where they were captivated by the stunning palace and the iconic painting The Kiss by Gustav Klimt. This experience not only enriched their understanding of Austrian art but also left them in awe of the country's cultural heritage. The group then explored the area around the Wiener Staatsoper, indulging in shopping and sightseeing, with evenings left open for them to discover authentic Austrian cuisine at their leisure.
A highlight of the trip was a hands-on baking workshop where the students learned to prepare Sachertorte, a classic Austrian dessert, under the guidance of a local bakery team. This activity not only provided a fun and interactive way to engage with Austrian culture but also allowed the students to take a piece of Vienna back home with them. The visit to the Vienna State Opera and two Christmas markets offered a glimpse into the festive spirit of the city, with attractions like an ice rink, roller coasters, and go-kart rides adding to the excitement. The students particularly enjoyed the go-kart rides, which brought a sense of adventure to their cultural exploration. One student shared, 'Vienna is fabulous. The architecture is really beautiful, the Christmas markets are so decorated, and everyone we met is nice. I hope to come back some time.'
