While a Vaud MP recently proposed annual assessments for state school teachers, Champittet is already years ahead: every colleague participates in a performance review twice a year. These 360-degree appraisals incorporate feedback from students, parents, and colleagues, alongside evaluations of professional development, initiative, and student academic outcomes. Results may lead to targeted training, coaching, or action plans.
