The environmental initiative saw Champittet students, along with family and friends, dedicating their time on September 27th to clean the shores of Lake Geneva. With remarkable energy and positivity, volunteers worked along a two-kilometre stretch from the Haldimand Tower to the port in Pully. Equipped with gloves and collection bags, each piece of litter removed served as a practical demonstration of the Philanthropy Club's core values: service, responsibility, and care for our shared world. The event successfully engaged participants of all ages, reinforcing the importance of intergenerational collaboration in environmental stewardship. Following the clean-up, the community gathered for a warm reception, strengthening bonds and celebrating their collective achievement. Simultaneously, the school hosted a charitable chess tournament organized by a boarding student, attracting young chess enthusiasts aged seven and above from several international schools across the region. The tournament featured ten exhilarating rounds that not only honed the participants' strategic skills but also supported a noble cause. All profits from registration fees were donated to the Collège Champittet Foundation, directly contributing to its humanitarian projects for children in need.
