TASIS Elementary School Celebrates, Says Goodbye to Fifth-Grade Class

Le TASIS Elementary School recently celebrated its annual Moving-Up Ceremony, a significant event marking the transition of 35 fifth-grade students to the Middle School. Held in the Palmer Cultural Center on June 6, the ceremony was a heartfelt occasion filled with speeches, student presentations, and musical performances. Distinguished speakers included Headmaster Christopher Nikoloff, Lower School Head Timothy Fitzgerald, and Assistant Head of the Elementary School Guia Berera. The event underscored the school's commitment to fostering academic and personal growth among its students.

The ceremony featured two musical selections directed by Elementary School Music Teacher Teresa Novak, adding a touching artistic dimension to the proceedings. Diplomas were presented by Mr. Fitzgerald, Ms. Berera, and the fifth-grade teaching team, comprising Danelle Kritzinger, Natalia Staniscia, and Veronica Maffezzini. Following the formalities, attendees enjoyed a buffet luncheon on the Kay Hamblin Terrace, fostering a sense of community among students, families, and faculty.
