Coding for Connection

In an era where technology often isolates, Institut auf dem Rosenberg turned the narrative on its head with the inaugural Rosenberg Vibe Coding Masters. This afternoon event brought together 50 students across 10 mixed-age teams, fostering collaboration and creativity as they explored the intersection of technology and human connection. Throughout the event, students engaged with industry experts from esteemed partners such as The Metaverse Society, EleaTek, Egonym, Climate Words, BeyondBot AI, and The Explorers Club. Rather than a traditional judged competition, these experts acted as sparring partners, helping students refine their ideas and challenge assumptions. The atmosphere was one of shared discovery, where coding became a medium for meaningful dialogue.

As the coding sessions concluded, the focus shifted from building to deeper conversation. Students hosted a salon-style discussion with the expert panel, grappling with a profound question: "As AI expands our ability to explore the unknown, what remains uniquely human in the act of discovery?" The Metaverse Society and its founder Marine Boulot facilitated student-led reflections, ensuring that conversations around artificial intelligence remained grounded in curiosity, responsibility, and human imagination. The winning team will be revealed during Spotlight 2026, but for now, the suspense continues. Through this event, Institut auf dem Rosenberg demonstrated that true innovation thrives at the nexus of technology, ethics, and human connection.
