L'école élémentaire TASIS dit au revoir à ses diplômés de cinquième année

The TASIS Elementary School celebrated its annual Moving-Up Ceremony on June 5 in the Palmer Cultural Center, honoring the 34 fifth-grade students who will transition to the Middle School in the upcoming academic year. The event featured a formal program that included remarks from Headmaster Christopher Nikoloff, Lower School Head Timothy Fitzgerald, and Assistant Head of the Elementary School Guia Berera. Each fifth-grade class presented their reflections, and the ceremony was enriched by musical performances directed by Elementary School Music Teacher Melody Zanecchia. Diplomas were presented by Mr. Fitzgerald, Ms. Berera, and fifth-grade teachers Danelle Kritzinger, Natalia Staniscia, and Veronica Maffezzini. The ceremony marked a significant milestone for the students, celebrating their achievements in the Elementary School and preparing them for the next stage of their educational journey at TASIS.

Following the Moving-Up Ceremony, students and their families gathered with Elementary School faculty members for a buffet luncheon on the Kay Hamblin Terrace. This informal gathering provided an opportunity for the community to celebrate the students' accomplishments and share in the joy of their transition. The event underscored the strong sense of community at TASIS, where families and educators work together to support student growth. The ceremony and luncheon together highlighted the school's commitment to fostering a nurturing environment that honors student milestones and prepares them for future academic challenges. The full ceremony was recorded and made available for viewing, allowing the broader TASIS community to share in this special occasion.
