TASIS Students Shine at Annual Summer Arts Festival

Students who attend the TASIS Summer Programs in Lugano have the opportunity to pursue a huge variety of performing arts offerings—including musical theater, singing, dance, band, music production, songwriting, filmmaking, improvisation, and theater tech—under the direction of the best team in the business. The program is designed to cater to diverse artistic interests, allowing participants to explore new disciplines or refine existing skills in a supportive and inspiring environment. With expert instructors guiding each activity, students benefit from hands-on learning that emphasizes creativity, collaboration, and technical proficiency. This comprehensive approach ensures that every participant, regardless of prior experience, can find a niche that sparks their passion and fosters personal growth.

The culmination of their artistic pursuits are the Summer Arts Festivals, which are held in the final few days of each session. These vibrant celebrations of the arts offer students in the High School Program (HSP), the Middle School Program (MSP), and Le Château des Enfants (CDE) a platform to present their outstanding work to their parents, peers, teachers, and counselors. The festivals showcase a wide range of performances and exhibitions, from musical theater productions and band concerts to film screenings and dance recitals, reflecting the depth and breadth of talent cultivated during the summer. By providing a formal stage for students to share their achievements, the festivals build confidence, encourage peer recognition, and create lasting memories. An archive of the performances and exhibitions from the Summer Arts Festival held at the end of session one is available via the 2026 Summer Arts Festival link.
