Behind the Scenes: How Institut Montana Zugerberg Created Its Authentic ‘Believe’ Campaign Film

The journey to create the 'Believe' image film for Institut Montana Zugerberg began with a profound and simple question: how to share the school's story in a way that felt true, meaningful, and heartfelt. The clear intention was to communicate the institution's core values, beliefs, and unique spirit. This vision evolved over months of brainstorming, creative exchange, and meticulous planning, transforming from a standard school video concept into a 1.5-minute cinematic journey. From the outset, it was essential that the film featured the real heartbeat of the community—its students and staff. They were central to bringing the story to life, offering an authentic glimpse into the vibrant daily experience on campus. The narrative was designed to showcase everything from lively classrooms and moments of connection outdoors to the charm of historic buildings and the stunning natural beauty of nearby Lake Zug.

The filming took place over two intense days in September 2024, involving 12 students and 5 staff members across key locations like the soccer field, a classroom, the Aula Felsenegg, the forest, the library (Mediathek), and finally, Lake Zug. Not everything went as planned; the first scene on the soccer field was met with a misty, damp morning. However, the team leaned into this unexpected atmosphere, and the soft fog lent the scene an unplanned magic. The project culminated with a lakeside shoot, which, despite weather concerns, became one of the most beautiful and powerful surprises of the entire endeavor. The enthusiasm and natural ease of the students, many of whom were first-time actors, stood out remarkably. Their genuine joy and the laughter shared between takes created a warm, unforgettable atmosphere. This collaborative spirit was greatly supported by director Sandeep Abraham and his exceptional production team, whose talent and dedication were evident throughout the process. The film premiered in local cinemas and garnered media attention, serving as a heartfelt reflection of the school's authentic community spirit.
