TASIS Students Earn 78 AP Scholar Awards To Set School Record for Fifth Consecutive Year

The 2025 Advanced Placement (AP) exam results at TASIS have set a new benchmark for academic excellence, with 144 students participating in at least one exam. The collective effort of students, faculty, and administrative staff, including AP Coordinator Sonia Yo and Head of High School Dr. Mark Abisi, has culminated in outstanding achievements. A record-breaking 388 exams were taken, surpassing the previous high of 344. Notably, 56% of these exams scored a 4 or higher, with 97 achieving a perfect score of 5. The average exam score stood at an impressive 3.79, reflecting the dedication and hard work of the TASIS community.

The success rate at TASIS remained above 90%, with 130 students scoring 3 or higher on at least one exam, as defined by the College Board's criteria for predicting college success. This year also saw a record number of 78 AP Scholar Awards, including 27 students earning the AP Scholar with Distinction honor. Additionally, six students were awarded the AP International Diploma (APID), recognizing their exceptional achievement across various disciplines. These accomplishments underscore the school's commitment to fostering academic excellence and preparing students for future challenges in higher education and beyond.
