Celebrating a year of achievements: Champittet primary and secondary promotion ceremonies

The end of the school year at Collège Champittet is marked by a series of promotion ceremonies that celebrate the achievements of students from Preschool to 14th Grade. This year, the ceremonies were held on two separate days, June 18th for Preschool to 8th Grade and June 20th for secondary students, on the Pully campus. These events were a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students, with family, teachers, and staff coming together to honor their accomplishments. Awards were given in various categories, including Academic Achievement, Exemplary Behaviour, and special recognitions from the Boarding School, Library, and Chaplaincy. New prizes were also introduced to celebrate talents in music, sports, and social impact, with winners receiving gift certificates to Payot Bookstore to encourage continued exploration and learning.

The promotion ceremonies were not only about awards but also showcased the students' talents in music and the arts. As part of the Year of Music, student musicians performed on instruments like the piano and violin, demonstrating their technical skills and creativity. Additionally, young artists presented drama and filmmaking projects, outcomes of the performing arts collaboration with Juilliard. The events concluded with festive activities, including games, food, live music, and sunshine, providing a perfect setting for students to reflect on their successful year and look forward to summer adventures. The Collège Champittet community expressed gratitude to the staff for organizing these memorable ceremonies and to the families for their support in celebrating this important milestone in the students' educational journey.
