Jacques Bounin is a senior education professional with over two decades of experience in international boarding school admissions, institutional development, and family engagement. He served for 21 years as Director of Admissions at Institut Le Rosey in Switzerland, one of the world’s most prestigious international boarding schools.
During his tenure at Le Rosey, Jacques led the entire admissions process and played a key role in shaping and implementing long-term recruitment and positioning strategies. He worked closely with international families from diverse cultural backgrounds and contributed to building and maintaining a highly selective and globally representative student body. He also promoted summer camp programs for parents and children, fostering inclusive, high-quality educational environments beyond the academic year.
Jacques holds a solid academic background in business and quantitative studies. He graduated from the European Business School (EBS) and earned a diploma from the Italian Chamber of Commerce. He also completed an additional mathematics program at Paris University. His secondary education includes a French Baccalaureate obtained at Institut Le Rosey, providing him with firsthand experience of the Swiss boarding school system from a student’s perspective.
Fluent in French, English, German, and Italian, Jacques combines strong intercultural communication skills with a pragmatic and human-centered approach to education. His personal interests include aviation, holding a VFR pilot license, and golf.
