By accessing this website, submitting an enquiry, registering for an event, requesting information, or using any part of our website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you should not use this website or our services.

  1. Scope of these Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to:

  • your use of this website;

  • any enquiry, request, or communication submitted through the website;

  • participation in events, presentations, consultations, or meetings organised by EPI;

  • any preliminary or general advisory exchanges prior to a separate written service agreement, proposal, or quotation.

If EPI and the client enter into a separate written agreement, proposal, quotation, or engagement letter, that document will prevail in the event of any conflict with these Terms and Conditions.

  1. Nature of our services

The information published on this website is provided for general informational purposes only.

EPI offers personalised support and consultancy based on the circumstances of each family, student, or client. However, no information on this website should be interpreted as a guarantee of admission, enrolment, visa approval, scholarship, academic outcome, or any other result controlled by a third party.

Schools, universities, camps, public authorities, and other third parties make their own independent decisions according to their own criteria, procedures, and timelines.

  1. No guarantee of outcome

EPI does not guarantee:

  • admission to any school, university, camp, or programme;

  • the availability of places in any institution or programme;

  • visa approval, residence authorisation, or any immigration-related outcome;

  • scholarships, financial aid, or preferential treatment;

  • academic success, examination results, or future educational placement.

Any decision taken by a third-party institution or authority remains outside EPI’s control.

  1. User responsibilities

You agree to use the website and our services lawfully, accurately, and in good faith.

You are responsible for ensuring that any information you provide to us is accurate, complete, current, and not misleading.

If you provide information relating to a child or to another individual, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

You must not:

  • use the website for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purpose;

  • interfere with the website’s operation or security;

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, servers, systems, or data;

  • copy, scrape, reproduce, republish, or exploit website content without prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

  1. Consultations, enquiries, and event registrations

Submitting a contact form, lead form, registration request, or enquiry does not create an obligation for EPI to accept a matter or provide services.

EPI reserves the right to decline, postpone, limit, or discontinue any consultation, enquiry, event registration, or service request at its discretion, including where capacity is limited, information is incomplete, or the request falls outside our scope of services.

  1. Fees and payment

Unless otherwise stated, access to the website is free of charge.

Paid consultancy, advisory, or support services are subject to a separate quotation, proposal, invoice, or written agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • fees charged by EPI are payable in accordance with the terms stated in the relevant quotation or invoice;

  • EPI may require advance payment before starting work;

  • late payment may result in suspension, postponement, or cancellation of services;

  • all third-party fees, including but not limited to school application fees, tuition fees, boarding fees, camp fees, testing fees, courier fees, visa fees, and administrative charges, are separate from EPI’s fees and remain the responsibility of the client.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, school or institution fees are governed by the terms of the relevant school or institution and are generally payable in advance directly to that institution.

  1. Cancellations and refunds

Any cancellation, postponement, or refund terms for a paid service, meeting, or event may be specified in the relevant proposal, registration confirmation, invoice, or written agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • fees for work already performed are non-refundable;

  • time reserved specifically for a client may be charged if cancelled at short notice;

  • third-party costs already incurred on the client’s behalf are non-refundable;

  • EPI is not responsible for refund policies applied by schools, camps, venues, platforms, or other third parties.

  1. Third-party institutions and external providers

EPI may introduce, recommend, or facilitate contact with schools, universities, camps, consultants, or other third parties.

Such third parties remain independent from EPI. EPI is not a party to any contract entered into between a client and a school, camp, university, service provider, venue, or public authority, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Their own terms, policies, fees, deadlines, and decisions apply separately.

  1. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, structure, layout, design elements, logos, graphics, images, downloads, and other materials, is owned by EPI or used under licence, unless otherwise stated.

No part of this website may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, displayed, published, or used for commercial purposes without EPI’s prior written consent.

  1. Website availability

We aim to keep the website accurate, secure, and available, but we do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or current.

We may update, modify, suspend, or withdraw all or part of the website at any time without notice.

  1. Third-party links

This website may contain links to third-party websites or resources for convenience and information only.

EPI does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party websites or services.

  1. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

EPI makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, regarding:

  • the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of website content;

  • the uninterrupted availability of the website;

  • the absence of viruses or other harmful components;

  • the suitability of any school, camp, university, or service provider for any particular student or family.

Nothing on this website constitutes legal, tax, immigration, financial, medical, or psychological advice. Where needed, you should seek advice from appropriately qualified professionals.

  1. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EPI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss or damage, including loss of opportunity, loss of income, loss of profit, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or loss arising from decisions taken by third parties.

EPI shall not be liable for:

  • decisions made by schools, camps, universities, testing bodies, embassies, consulates, or public authorities;

  • delays, cancellations, or errors caused by third parties;

  • technical interruptions, platform failures, internet outages, or website downtime;

  • actions taken by the client based on general information published on the website.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by mandatory law.

  1. Privacy and cookies

Your use of the website is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we collect, use, and protect personal data and how cookies and similar technologies are used.

  1. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The updated version will become effective when published on this website, unless otherwise stated. Continued use of the website or our services after publication of the revised version constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.

  1. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

  1. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Swiss law.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or the use of the website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Geneva, Switzerland, subject to any mandatory jurisdiction rules that may apply.

  1. Contact

If you have any questions regarding these Terms and Conditions, please contact us via Contact.

A few practical notes before you publish it:

First, if you want a stronger commercial version, I would add one extra clause saying that EPI’s written proposals, fee quotes, and invoices form part of the contractual framework for paid mandates.

Second, if you plan to sell fixed consulting packages online later, the payment, cancellation, and refund clauses should become more precise.

School Information Disclaimer

EPI makes reasonable efforts to keep information on schools, programmes, tuition fees, boarding fees, admission requirements, student numbers, facilities, academic pathways and other related content accurate and up to date. However, all such information is provided for general guidance only and may be changed at any time by the relevant school or institution without notice.

Accordingly, EPI does not guarantee that any school-related information published on this website is complete, current or error-free at all times. Users should verify all key information directly with us or the relevant school or institution before making any decision, application, payment or commitment.

Nothing on this website shall be interpreted as a binding representation by EPI regarding the current fees, availability, curriculum, programmes, rankings, admissions criteria or other characteristics of any school or educational institution.
