Shaping Tomorrow: A Showcase of Student Vision & Innovation

During the recent Community Weekend at Institut Rosenberg, students took center stage with 'Talent to Tomorrow: A Showcase of Student Vision.' This event highlighted innovative solutions to real-world challenges, developed through the school's co-curricular programs, independent research initiatives, and its distinctive Humani|X| courses. The showcase provided a dynamic platform for students to present their work, demonstrating how the institution's educational philosophy translates into tangible, forward-thinking projects.

Leading into the weekend, this momentum was already building as students engaged in a collaborative exchange with partners from Climate Words. They continued their work on The Rosenberg Youth Manifesto, a project first activated by student contributions to 'Urban Refuge' during Climate Week New York. This work was further developed during activities at The Rosenberg House Davos, held alongside the World Economic Forum. These pre-showcase engagements underscore how student projects at the school are often connected to larger, global dialogues and real-world applications, setting the stage for the weekend's presentations.

The student presentations were reviewed by a distinguished panel of guests from industry, policy, and innovation sectors, who provided thoughtful feedback on each project's relevance, feasibility, and future potential. The panel included Yuliana Yalynska, Multilateral Affairs Lead at Takeda and former Project Fellow at the World Economic Forum; Antonia Martina Durisch, President of IFED Global; Murielle Antille, Managing Director of Manpower Group; Gordian Berger, CTO at Legartis; Nikola Zic, Head of Product and Digital Transformation at movon AG; Michele Doronzo, Investor and Head of Investment Modelling at Re Asset Management; Michael Carrighan, Senior Management for Special Projects at PI Group; Boris Smiljić, CEO & Founder of EleaTek; Valentin Abend, Project Director; and Pamela Elizarraras Acitores, Co-Founder & Creative Director of Climate Words. Their expert perspectives enriched the student sprints, transforming the showcase into a meaningful, intergenerational exchange of ideas.

Running parallel to these presentations, The Rosenberg Youth Manifesto continued to evolve. Authored by the student hosts, it serves as a forward-looking declaration outlining necessary actions and key stakeholders required to drive impactful societal solutions and create scalable pathways for the future. Scheduled for publication this spring and intended for sharing with global stakeholders, the manifesto represents a significant milestone in amplifying student voice, agency, and purpose within the Institut auf dem Rosenberg community and beyond.
