Web3, AI, and the Ethics of Innovation

Questions of responsibility and accountability came sharply into focus during a session on Web3, AI, and the ethics of innovation at The Rosenberg House Davos 2026. Hosted by Jasper F. (Gr. 11), Rodion Z. (Gr. 10), and Rosenberg House partner Ana Rold, the conversation brought together Katrina Salazar, Founder and CEO of weThink, Boris Smiljić, Founder and CEO of EleaTek, and Terence La, Founder of KI Unlocked and AI Lead at Zurich Airport. The discussion moved beyond technical capability to examine how judgement formed, shifted, and failed in real environments. From behavioural intelligence and financial transparency to applied AI systems in complex operations, speakers explored where responsibility rested as technologies converged and scaled.

Students engaged directly with questions of bias, resilience, and trust, considering how innovation could remain human centred as systems grew more powerful. The exchange highlighted the need for clarity of purpose and accountability alongside technical ingenuity. The session exemplified the forward-thinking, real-world engagement fostered by the educational environment at Institut Rosenberg, where students are not just learners but active participants in shaping the discourse around future technologies. This approach aligns with the institution's commitment to developing responsible global citizens who can navigate and contribute to complex ethical landscapes, such as those presented by Web3 and artificial intelligence.
