We are delighted to feature Eksha, a proud alumna from Thailand, whose journey embodies the spirit of confidence, curiosity, and compassion that Surval inspires in every student. During her time at the school, Eksha embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm—from academics and winter sports to cultural experiences and the friendships that made the institution feel like home. Now completing her Chiropractic degree, Eksha continues to pursue her passion for health and wellness, preparing to begin an exciting new chapter back in Thailand. Her story reflects the essence of the educational experience: a place that nurtures independence, global perspective, and lifelong connections.
Eksha reflects fondly on her transformative years, stating: "My time at Surval was truly lovely. In many ways, it brought me out of the safety shell I grew up in and challenged me to discover who I am as a young woman, surrounded by so much love and care. Being there is such a privilege at any age, and I only wish my time had lasted longer. It went by in the blink of an eye, especially with Covid cutting my experience short." This sentiment highlights how the environment serves as both a challenging and supportive space for personal development, encouraging students to explore their identities while providing a secure foundation for growth.
When describing her alma mater, Eksha portrays it as "a colourful and warm place—another kind of safety shell that became home, filled with endless opportunities and activities that set us girls apart from the rest of the world." She emphasizes that the impact was comprehensive: "I can’t pinpoint one single thing the school did for me, because it shaped me in so many different ways." This holistic approach to education—combining academic rigor with personal development and global awareness—creates well-rounded individuals prepared for diverse life paths.
Eksha's nostalgia extends to the daily experiences that defined her time there: "I miss everything—from the food and winter sports to the late-night chats with friends and laughing in class with teachers. At Surval, everyone truly becomes family. Not to mention how beautiful Montreux is—it feels like studying with a five-star hotel view right in front of you." These memories underscore the importance of community and environment in creating an immersive educational experience. Today, Eksha is completing her chiropractic degree and is recently engaged. After her studies, she plans to return home to Thailand to get married and begin the next chapter of her life—one filled with health, wellness, and professional fulfillment in her chosen field.
