Welcoming our Survalienne – Adrianna (1997, Costa Rica)

Adriana Echandi, a distinguished alumna from the class of 1997 at Surval, recently made a nostalgic return to her alma mater, accompanied by her family. This visit marked her first since graduating, yet she found the school's welcoming atmosphere unchanged. Adriana, now a successful CEO of Morpho Travel Experience, specializes in crafting sustainable and transformative travel experiences across Latin America. Her recent professional milestone includes inaugurating new spaces at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, Peru, a testament to her commitment to fostering global connections and cultural exchanges.

During her visit, Adriana fondly recalled her time at Surval, sharing anecdotes that highlighted the school's unique charm. She reminisced about the era when emails from home were a printed luxury, the special exchanges with the Montreux Jazz Festival organized by Mr. Sidler, and her cherished photography class. The darkroom sessions, where she developed her own photos, stood out as a particularly joyful memory. Adriana's journey from a Surval student to a visionary entrepreneur in the travel industry underscores the school's role in nurturing global citizens equipped to make meaningful contributions to the world.
